Hello! Today we had a very fun day. In the morning we drove straight to Nîmes, an ancient Gallo-romain town. This is the town for which the big aqueduct we saw yesterday was built. We saw the best preserved roman temple in Europe, la Maison Carré and visited the roman arenas. Then we went to a local market and bought all kinds of local products such as pâtés, cheeses, cold cuts, and lots of fruits. We took everything to a beautiful park and had a picnic. In the afternoon we drove through Arles, a town much appreciated and painted by Van Gogh. And then to Baux-de-Provence. It is one of the most beautiful villages of France and known for its location on rocks and its ruins of a medieval castle.
