Buenos Aires & Iguazú

Cemetery, book shop & Tango show Today after breakfast we started our day going on a city tour. As it was raining we decided to make a change on the tour and go to the biggest book shop in Argentina, called El Ateneo, some years ago it was a theater. When we left the book shop it stopped raining and we went to the Recoleta cemetery, where everyone could see the difference between a regular american cemetary and this particular argentine cemetary which has a lot of pantheon of famous people, like Evita Peron, Federico Leloir, who won a nobel prize among others interesting people. After the cemetary we went to La Boca Neighborhood, we walked through the Caminito, and we saw the Boca Juniors Stadium from the outside, we also saw a few murals of Messi and we finish the tour at Pizzeria Bancheros, which is an old and traditional place in Buenos Aires. As teachers and student requested after lunch we went to the supermarket where students were able to buy few groceries. At this time it started to rain again. We went to the Obelisk and then continue to the Florida walking street we went straight to the hotel. In the afternoon we went to a Tango lesson. That's all we're all the students were able to learn how to dance Tango, and after the lesson we have dinner each student. Was able to choose their menu. In Spanish? After we ate, the Tango show started, all the students were amazed by the show, as it wasn't just tango dancing and music the show included somen traditional music and dances from others parts of the country, like Folklore. The students said that the most thing they will remember from today are: - La boca, because it had so many colors, the stadium and the walking around. - the Tango show, cause the differents kind of music and dances, for the dresses. - the Tango lesson because they enjoyed trying the dance. - the walking around through Caminito and Buenos Aires.
