May 23, 2017  -  May 24, 2017

HELLOOOO OTTAWA!! Well our first day here in Ottawa has come to a close and we're ready to rest up for the next day ahead. Our trip to Canada's capital began with a visit to parliament hill! Here we visited monuments such as the centennial flame and the whispering wall as well as learned how a bill is passed in our government. We also took a trip inside centre block for a tour of the house of commons. library and senate! After this we journeyed a bit outside of the city to Canada's Agricultural Museum and the Experimental Farms. We got to see and pet live animals and learn about agriculture in our country! After this we went to dinner at the famous Dunn's Diner. Our final stop of the night was a haunted ghost tour where we learned horror stories and also visited the old carleton county jail. Let's hope to kids don't have any nightmares tonight! Well, it was a great day with some great weather and we're ready to do it all again tomorrow. See you then!
