Day 1: June 8, 2016
We made it! It was a bit of a long journey but we finally made it to Ottawa! Along the way we got to stop off at Fort Henry. It was pretty cool. There are rounded limestone walls that were meant to ricochet bullets and allow them to turn corners! After that we boarded the Magic School Bus and made our way into Ottawa. We haven't seen any red license plates yet, but I'm sure we'll see some tomorrow. It wasn't too long after checking into our hotel that we were taken to dance hall where we got to show all our teachers our amazing dance moves. Our tour director, however, could use some dance lessons. Right now we are so tired and ready for sleep. We have along and busy day ahead of us, so we need to get our beauty rest before we hit the streets of Ottawa!
