Washington, DC & Colonial Virginia

Today we left the DC/VA hotel for our adventures in the Colonial Virginia. During the two-hour drive to Williamsburg the students watched the first CD of "America, the story of us." This is an excellent production by the History Channel. The first CD starts with the early European's migration to Jamestown, VA, through the end of American revolution and the battle oh York. The students became very excited at the sight of Bush Gardens and did not wait for me to take a few pictures! The day was bright and beautiful. The students had a much deserved day of fun and being young! Dinner was a delicious Italian buffet at Anna's Brick Oven, in Williamsburg. Then the students were at the hotel for a restful night getting ready for tomorrow's adventures. Marsha
