Hi everyone!
Time to visit Athens!!
We met Valena, our local guide for the morning and Kostas, our driver again, and they took us on a tour form the coach around the main parts of the city. So we learnt about the parliament, we passed by the University, and through the main avenues, arriving to main square Syntagma, where we turned in order to begin our walking visit.
Bye bye Kostas, thanks for everything!!
So we followed Valena and when finally we got into the Acropolis all the waiting was worth it... The Parthenon right there saying hello since more than 2000 years, the vestals watching us from the height, it was just really beautiful.
What it's been quite a warm day and it was difficult to keep the visit going, so after lunch we decided to go back to the hotel to relax before going for dinner in the Plaka district, the old town of Athens.
Dinner has been great, and now, ready for tomorrow's ride to the port!!!
