Day 2: March 8, 2024
What a first day. The group arrived early in the morning after a long flight where apparently nobody slept more than 2 hours. And on top of it it rained and was a bit cold in Madrid...Tough day, but after all it was the first day in the biggest city of Spain, one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe.
They had some tapas and “bocadillo de calamares “ for lunch before heading to the Museo Reina Sofía, one of the best in the world. With masterpieces from Picasso, Miro and Dali!
We did a walking tour of the centre visiting Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Market of San Miguel on the way to go for dinner in the centre of the city.
After dinner , everybody was ready for a good night sleep
