Last week the Explorica crew put on their best Explorica gear and headed to the airport to help send off groups from Ontario travelling on March Break tours. Calling March Break at the airport busy is a huge understatement, with more than double the normal number of passengers flying.
Our goal was to help travelling teachers and students check in with ease and wish them bon voyage as they departed on international adventures.
Even amidst the chaos, our amazing Group Leaders and travellers took the time for a quick snapshot for the Explorica Blog!
The three days spent at the airport were a lot of fun. We loved meeting our teachers and talking to the students about what they’re most excited about. We also enjoyed witnessing the beginnings of the amazing transformation they will have over the next 10-12 days.
“Travel is such an important part of growing up. Our Explorica travellers are lucky that they have exceptional teachers who want to share this experience with them. Being at the airport with the students is definitely the highlight of my job. They are so happy and excited and it makes me feel proud, knowing that I played a part in making it all happen.” Christina Domenici, Regional Sales Manager.
