Algonquin Park In-Depth: Three Day Spring Tour

June 22, 2016  -  June 24, 2016

"Wow, what a day in Algonquin Park! We had a beautiful day to kick off this amazing tour and it couldn't have started off better because as we got into the park the first thing we saw was a moose. That's right, a real, live moose. Once we got to the park, we met up with our Algonquin guide Sophie who taught us more about the history of the park and brought us on two different hikes to learn about the nature in each of the areas. The first one led to a look out point with a beautiful view. The other took us through a section of forest that had amazing white pines that were over 200 years old and had survived a fire as well as some ruins of what probably was an old logging campground. It was absolutely spectacular! Once we finished at the park, we went in to Huntsville to go for supper and check-in. Today was such a good start but I can't wait for tomorrow!"
