It’s our favourite time of the year! Photo contest time! We received a record number of submissions in 2016 and we want to make 2017 bigger and better than ever! This year, we’ve chosen a theme: Learning in action. Show us the candid learning moments from your 2017 tour and you could win a $300 gift card!
How it works:

Set your camera to its highest resolution and capture great, color photos of your tour. - Upload!
When you get home, upload your best shots to explorica.ca/photo by August 15, 2017. We are also adding an Instagram category, so you can share your best insta-pics with us, too. - Win!
We’ll announce winners on September 1, 2017. Watch the Explorica Canada Facebook, Twitter and blog for updates!

Best photo of you and/or your classmates participating in an itinerary activity
The winner of this category will receive the GRAND PRIZE: $300 gift card.
What was your favourite activity on tour? Did you go ziplining through a rainforest? Did you climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower? Show us the ACTION.
Best photo of student(s) interacting with locals
Did you speak to an Italian street merchant? Order food in Spanish? Show us who you met during your journey. What did they teach you? Remember, the theme this year is learning in action, so posing and saying “cheese” is not required!

Best use of Explorica gear
A fan-favourite. Show off your Explorica sunglasses, luggage tags, hats, etc. The more creative, the better!

Best photo of students experiencing Canadian history
History is more than stories in a textbook. Show us how you and your fellow travellers connected with Canadian history during your tour.

Best photo of the group interacting with the tour director or group leader
Show the adults on your trip some love. Explorica group leaders and tour directors are the best in the industry. Show us why! Capture a candid moment of your tour director making a foreign place feel like home. Show us why your group leader is the best teacher in the world.

Instagram post with the most <3
Send us your best insta! We want you to edit and filter until your heart’s content. To enter, follow and tag @ExploricaCanada and use the hashtag #LearningInAction2017 in the post. The photo with the most likes will win! So be sure to share and tag your fellow travellers.
