Dear traveller,
Last fall we launched a bold initiative to make travel more accessible, and I’m proud to report that we’re off to an incredible start. Students have enthusiastically embraced our personal fundraising pages, receiving tens of thousands of dollars in contributions thus far. This year, we are continuing our efforts by expanding Explorica student travel grants and introducing financial assistance for qualifying Canadian families. Together, we are helping more students than ever join their classmates on a life-changing educational experience.
The new year brings exciting changes in our headquarters as well: After 16 years as President of Explorica Canada, I’ve accepted a new role as Explorica Vice President of Operations. I’m thrilled to announce that our leadership has been passed to the very capable hands of my colleague David Conklin, now formally General Manager of Explorica Canada. I’ve known David professionally for many years, and together we will continue to serve Explorica’s mission stronger than ever before.
