Step One: Select Your Tour
The first step in the tour process is pretty obvious—pick your tour!

If you already know the tour you want, or have a good idea of the destinations you'd like your group to visit, head over to Select A Tour to get started.
Either on your own, or with your Program Consultant, customize and create your ideal tour based on dates, location, activities and price.
Step Two: Create Your Tour Centre
Once you've made your tour selection, you're ready to create your Tour Centre, a virtual one-stop shop for all things related to your tour . It's where all the information about your tour is stored. It's also where you send students to sign up, make payments and more.
Use your Tour Centre to promote your tour, keep track of who's interested, remind yourself and your students of important deadlines, find out your accommodations and flight reservations, and much, much more.
Step Three: Promote Your Tour
Now that you've finalized your tour, it's time to start recruiting participants.
The first—and most successful—way to get students and parents interested in your Explorica tour is to host an informational meeting.
At the meeting, use the Power Point presentation your Program Consultant provided, and show your Tour Centre to get students and parents excited.
Hang our promotional posters around your classroom and school to get the word out, and connect with students online through your Tour Centre's many social networking tools.
Step Four: Learn the Details...and Count the Days
Once the student enrolment deadline for your tour has passed, your Program Consultant will walk you through all the details until your bags are packed. Your Program Consultant will let you know once your flights, meals, accommodations and activities information has been posted to your Tour Centre.
Explorica will also call and send your group email reminders of important deadlines. And you can always explore our FAQ section, or use the site search to find immediate answers to your tour and travel questions.
Step Five: Bon Voyage
After months of anticipation it's finally time to take your Explorica tour!
Once you've arrived at your first destination, you'll meet your Tour Director. They're regional experts, and they're fluent in all your tour's languages. They'll take care of all the on-tour details, while also filling your group in on the best lunch spots, nearest bank locations, or can't-miss destinations.
With the help of your Tour Director and local guides, you'll participate in immersive activities, eat authentic meals, and meet locals to get a truly authentic cultural experience.
And then, at just about the time when everyone's getting tired of trains, hotels and travel toothbrushes, it's time to come home with a head full of memories--and a suitcase full of souvenirs.
Step Six: Welcome Back!
Welcome back from tour! Now that you've returned, it's time to share...
First, share with us your thoughts on your tour experience by filling out Explorica's online Post Tour Evaluation Form.
Then, get the whole gang back together at a post-tour event to swap stories, photos and memories. And don't forget to share your amazing experiences with the rest of the world by posting on Explorica's social networking pages on Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and more.
