This morning we got up bright and early to take the ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. It was a beautiful day. Lots of security checks and lines to get through, but it was well worth it! Next we drove through the Financial District on our way to the NY Islanders hockey game. We arrived just in time to see the Islanders score 4 goals against the Ottawa Senators. Back in Manhattan, we strolled through Central Park. Dinner at Mamma Sbarro's in Times Square and shopping. We then took an evening tour of the South Street Seaport and of Ground Zero, Trinity Church, and Brooklyn Bridge. Lots of great sites today!
